[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] E-Land World (CEO Choi Woonsik) is launching its women's clothing brand W9 with the opening of its first store at Starfield COEX Mall in Seoul on the 15th, marking the start of full-scale offline sales.
W9 is a new women's clothing brand launched by E-Land World last October after 10 years, achieving sales of approximately 130 million KRW in two weeks at the Shinsegae Gangnam popup store.
Starfield COEX Mall is a large shopping mall with over 20 million annual visitors, located near apartment complexes, and attracts many popular brands among customers, enabling the influx of diverse customer demands.
The new store will offer a variety of about 140 products, including enhanced cashmere items already proven popular at the popup store, as well as transitional outerwear, pants, shapewear, scarves, and more.
Starting with the opening of this first store, W9 plans to actively expand its distribution network, aiming to open 50 stores in the first half of the year and 80 stores by the end of the year.
A W9 representative said, “Due to the enthusiastic customer response confirmed at the popup store, we increased the number of store openings beyond our initial target,” adding, “We will grow into a brand that pursues women's naturalness with luxurious materials and modern designs.”
Meanwhile, to celebrate the opening of the COEX Mall store, W9 will give soft socks to all customers who make a purchase and a travel dollar book to customers who spend over 300,000 KRW.
