[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seong-yeol] Singer Kim Seung-jin (52) has become a hot topic for returning to 'Burning Youth' after 5 years.


On the afternoon of the 7th, SBS entertainment program 'Burning Youth (Bulcheong)' aired, featuring singer Kim Seung-jin and Jo Jin-su, leader of the group 'Jam', joining as the first friends of the New Year 2020 and traveling to Mokpo.


In the broadcast, Kim Seung-jin said, "I have been single until now," and explained the reason for returning to 'Bulcheong' after 5 years since his appearance in 2015, saying, "This year, I started to want to get married."


Previously, during his last appearance, Kim Seung-jin revealed the reason for his hiatus from the entertainment industry since 1994. He confessed, "There were various musical conflicts and disagreements with my father."


Kim Seung-jin debuted in 1985 with his first album 'Today I Will Speak' and gained great popularity. Since then, he actively worked as a singer, leaving many hit songs such as 'Seuzan', 'Goodbye Painted on the Glass Window', 'Only Painful Memories', and 'Juliet'.


Especially noted for his contrasting eyes and delicate vocal tone, he was recognized as a youthful singer and also showed his acting skills by appearing in movies and dramas in the early 1990s.
