Ryu Seung-beom Mentions Gong Hyo-jin on Radio, "Even Received Congratulatory Calls for Acting Awards"

[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Sung-yeol] Actor Ryu Seung-beom has become a hot topic for mentioning his ex-girlfriend Gong Hyo-jin, whom he broke up with, on the radio.

Ryu Seung-beom appeared as a guest on tbs radio's "Anin Bamjung-e Joo Jin-woo Imnida" broadcast on the 6th.

When asked about his recent status, Ryu said, "It's difficult to explain where and how to start talking about how I have been," adding, "There are parts of my life that are not precise," explaining his lifestyle of freely moving between overseas and domestic locations.

In response to a listener's question, "Do you have any criteria when deciding your hairstyle?" he answered, "The reason I grew my hair was that I was on an island for about 1 to 2 years and couldn't cut it, so I had no choice but to grow it."

He added, "But coincidentally, the director of 'Tazza' liked the hairstyle, so I kept it as it was for filming."

When asked if there is anyone in Korea who recognizes his "gangster" acting, for which he is well known, he said, "I want to specialize in gangster acting. I need to have my place too," bringing laughter to the listeners.

Especially, when DJ Joo Jin-woo asked, "Do you watch Korean dramas, especially 'When the Camellia Blooms'?" mentioning actress Gong Hyo-jin, Ryu said, "Hyo-jin is in it, I hope you watched it. She has become very popular."

Ryu Seung-beom also revealed that he congratulated Gong Hyo-jin on the phone recently for winning the Grand Prize at the '2019 KBS Drama Awards' held last December, proudly showing their friendship.
