After Super Junior's leader Lee Teuk entered an army training camp Tuesday, its member Siwon has said the remaining members are determined to solidify the team's unity to fill Lee’s vacancy.
The idol star made the remark at his new TV series "THE LORD OF THE DRAMAS" press conference held at Seoul's SBS Hall in South Korea on October 31.
“On the day before Lee Teuk's military entering, I went to his house and spent time with him after my drama shooting. All of our members felt restless due to his scheduled leave," Siwon said.
"But we made up our minds to strengthen our unity even with our leader's absence. We will try our best to fill his post just as much as we miss him.”
Meanwhile, the singer and actor revealed what he wanted to achieve after filming the upcoming drama.
“I've tried to break my pre-established heavy or dark persona and just fly free like a bird. I hope the audience could feel happy by watching my funny character in the drama,” the Hallyu star told the reporters with confident voice.
Co-starring acclaimed actor Kim Myung-min, actresses Jung Ryeo-won and Oh Ji-eun, SBS “THE LORD OF THE DRAMAS” will pivot around ambivalent TV producer Anthony Kim [played by Kim], an honest rookie scriptwriter named Lee Go-eun [Jeong] and an idol singer Kang [Siwon].
Helmed by famed director Hong Sung-chang of “He’s Beautiful” (SBS, 2009), the upcoming drama is set to hit the airwaves next Monday.
