2PM's Jang Woo-young is to put on a collaborative performance with girl group SISTAR at Mnet's upcoming Thailand show.
Mnet officials confirmed through a press release Tuesday that Jang will pair up with "Loving U" girls to show their unique rendition of 2PM's "Hands Up" at "One Asia Tour 2012 M!CountDown Smile Thailand" set to open at Bangkok's Rajamangala Stadium in Thailand on October 4.
"Everyone was taken by surprise to see Bora's outstanding rap skills. People would have believed it if we told them she's the original singer of the track," a staff from the event was anonymously quoted as saying.
Along with the fivesome's special stage, boy band B.A.P's Bang Young-guk will team up with G.NA for the songstress' hit tune "2HOT," which had dominated the top spots of the show right after the release in May.
"Smile Thailand" concert is Mnet's second large-scale global tour after the Japan concert held last April. The officials said it will broadcast the show in the region on October 11.
The lineup for the event includes Super Junior, B.A.P, INFINITE and KARA, the officials added.
