Korean soul musician Bobby Kim will croon to his soul-inflected songs throughout the first global tour.
Kim is set to hit the road for worldwide tour opening in Australia and five cities in the United States, including New York, Washington D.C. Atlanta, Boston, and Los Angeles, according to Oscar Entertainment’s press release Monday.
“While Kim was recording his latest album in the United States, some of the world-famous artists acclaimed Kim as a great soul musician. We are currently working on adding more stops in Europe and other shows in different regions will be announced later,” the event’s organizer was quoted as saying.
Bobby Kim made his debut in 1998 with the first studio album “Holy Bumz Presents,” which was re-mastered under the name “Ground Zero.”
After making his second album’s title tune “Falling in Love Again” a bit hit in 2004, the soulful singer has been building his reputation as a solo vocalist and the leader of hip-hop trio Buga Kingz. He has also gained popularity by starring in MBC’s variety show “I Am a Singer” (2011-2012).
After wrapping up the successful five-set concert on July 1, Kim released his sixth full-length solo album “OLD & NEW,” which includes the title tune “Love Is Cruel,” on July 5.
