Korean idol Taecyeon of boy band 2PM has sustained an fracture on his left arm in Japan, according to his agency JYP Entertainment (JYPE).
On Wednesday, JYPE announced on the group's official website that Taecyeon was rushed to the hospital last night after he fractured his left humerus (upper part of an arm) during an arm wrestling with his fellow members.
Taecyeon has received a diagnosis at the hospital's emergency room in Japan and underwent a thorough examination once he returned to Korea earlier today, the website explained.
His agency will determine his upcoming activities after receiving final results and diagnosis from his doctors.
2PM, composed of Taecyeon, Nickhun, Chansung, Junsu, Wooyoung and Junho, made their debut in Japan in November, 2010. The boys recently released their greatest hits album in the Japan that has been faring well on Oricon's music charts.
Following the special release, the group will drop their fourth Japanese single "Beautiful" on June 6. The listed song has already been revealed in Japan and used as the background music for a Japanese TV commercial.
