Korean actor Lee Dong-gun, who was discharged from his two-year mandatory military service today, may mark his comeback soon by appearing in an upcoming TV series.
Lee is currently in talks to star in a figure-skating drama "Can't Lose" (translated title) though the show's broadcaster and air date have yet to be announced, an official from his agency Mask Entertainment told 10Asia over the phone on Wednesday.
"Lee is going over the script and we are currently in the final stages of making our decision," the official explained.
Lee made his debut as a singer in 1998 and rose to stardom after starring in the TV series "Lovers in Paris" (SBS, 2004), "Sweet 18" (KBS, 2004) and "Smile Again" (SBS, 2006).
He has also made several big screen appearances including "My Boyfriend is Type B" (2005) and "Love Now" (2007).
