Korean ballad group 2AM has made it into the top five of Oricon's weekly music chart with their debut Japanese single.
According to Oricon's official website on Tuesday, 2AM's single "Never let you go" came in third place on its weekly music chart after going on sale in the country on January 10.
The single had claimed the No. 3 spot on the daily music chart and was also released in Korea last week.
The album has been produced in three editions and contains "Never let you go" and the Japanese versions of "Can't Let You Go Even If I Die" and "Sorry I Can't Smile For You."
Meanwhile, the boys are scheduled to hold a total of four shows throughout Japan starting January 24 to promote their single.
Composed of members Jo Kwon, Changmin, Seulong and Jinwoon, 2AM was trained and discovered by top Korean talenthouse agency JYP Entertainment (JYPE) and made their debut in 2008 with their single album "This Song."
