A joint song by girl group T-ara and singing duo Davichi has made its way to the No. 1 spot for its first win on Gaon's chart.
According to the data on Gaon's website on Friday, T-ara and Davichi's song "We Used to be in Love" slid up eight spots to first place during the week of December 25 to 31.
"Love," composed and written by Cho Young-soo and K-Smith, debuted in the top spot on various online music charts upon its release on December 24 and was featured in T-ara's music video for their song "Lovey-Dovey."
Former winner Cube Entertainment's duo unit Trouble Maker, composed of 4minute's Hyun-a and BEAST's Hyun-seung, stepped down to No. 2 with their song "Trouble Maker" followed sequentially by songstress IU's pop tune "YOU&I."
In the meantime, Gaon's album chart revealed that singer Shin Hye-sung's special release "Embrace" entered its poll in first place.
IU's second full-length album "Last Fantasy" jumped a spot to No. 2 and Girls' Generation's third studio release climbed up three spots to round out the top three albums during the final week of December.
