Still images of actor Jang Keun-suk from his upcoming series co-starring Girls' Generation member Yoona has been revealed.
Two photographs of Jang as his character Seo In-ha, an art student whilst "Love Rain" (translated title) is set in the 1970s, were released through a press release by the show's promoter Y Tree Media on Thursday.
Jang is also set to play the double role of Seo Jun, a photographer with a cold heart, when the series moves to the year 2012.
"Seo In-ha is a sentimental and gentle person so I'm trying to express him delicately with a calm air," Jang was quoted as saying in the statement.
The show's director Yoon Suk-ho of famed series "Autumn Tale" and "Winter Sonata" was quoted as explaining, "Seo In-ha will be 180 degrees different from the finicky and strong characters that Jang has played through dramas in the past."
In the upcoming series, scheduled to air in the country during the first half of next year, Yoona will play the double role of Kim Yoon-hee when in the 1970s and Haru when in 2012.
Jang, as Seo In-ha, will do anything for Yoon-hee, the woman he loves and the drama will compare that love to relationships during the present time.
