2AM Seulong may play bodyguard in new Hwang Jung-min series

Korean idol Seulong of ballad group 2AM has been offered a role in an upcoming TV series starring Hwang Jung-min and Kim Jung-eun.

An official with Seulong's agency Big Hit Entertainment said on Monday that he has been asked to play a bodyguard in Chosun's new general programming cable channel CSTV drama "Korean Peninsula" (translated title) set to air early next year.

The official then explained, "Seulong is looking into the role in a positive light but so far nothing has been finalized."

Seulong made his debut as one of the members in his four-member ballad group 2AM in 2008. They are well known for their many hit songs including "This Song," "Can't Let You Go Even If I Die" and "I Did Wrong."

Outside of his group activities, Seulong has appeared in the MBC's hit series "Personal Taste" last year and has starred in the omnibus film "Acoustic" alongside CNBLUE members Min-hyuk and Jong-hyun.
