MBLAQ to hold first concert in August

Boy band MBLAQ will hold their first-ever concert in Korea in August, according to their official website on Tuesday.

The website revealed that the five-member boy band will hold their concert titled "Men in MBLAQ" at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul on August 20.

Composed of members Seung-ho, G.O., Lee Joon, Chun-dung and Mir, MBLAQ (Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality) made their debut in 2009 with their single album "JUST BLAQ" and followed it up with their second single "Y" in May 2009.

They have been busy promoting themselves in Japan with the release of their Japanese debut single "Your Luv" which went on sale in the country on May 4 and sold over 40,000 copies, placing them at the No. 2 spot on Oricon's weekly chart and making them the first Asian artists to achieve the feat in just a week into their official debut.

MBLAQ also met with their fans in Kawasaki, Osaka, Fukuoka, Sapporo, Tokyo and Nagoya to celebrate the release of “Your Luv” last month.
