Idol group f(x)’s new song “PINOCCHIO” is making waves at various major online music charts in Korea.
“PINOCCHIO,” the title track to the girls upcoming first full-length album which was revealed yesterday midnight, immediately topped the daily and real-time online music charts of major online music sites including MelOn, Dosirak, Bugs, Cyworld Music and 24 Hertz.
The song is an electronic pop dance number that sings about a girl who tries to analyze everything about a person whom she fell in love with for the first time from the standpoint of the wooden puppet Pinocchio.
The new album, also named “PINOCCHIO,” will go on sale on Wednesday while the group is scheduled to stage their comeback performance on this week's live music shows of KBS’ “Music Bank,” MBC’s “Show! Music Core,” and SBS’ “Inkigayo” that fall on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
Composed of members Victoria, Sulli, Luna, Krystal and Amber, f(x) made their debut in September 2009 with their first single "LA chA Ta" and followed it up with songs "Chocolate Love," "Chu~♡" and "NU ABO."
Outside of their group activities, the girls have made a number of appearances on variety programs, hosting televised music shows and starring in musicals.
