The Japanese version of TVXQ’s single album “Why (Keep Your Head Down)” will hit stores in Korea today, informed their agency SM Entertainment on Wednesday.
A press release by SM said that TVXQ’s Japanese single “Why,” released in Japan two months ago, will be sold in two versions in Korea; a 'CD' version and 'CD+video' version.
The latest single is composed of a total five tracks including the Japanese versions of the songs “Why" and “Maximum," the instrumental versions of the two and a remix version of “Why."
The DVD features the music video for "Why" and other clips that show interviews of the group's members as well as behind-the-scenes footage.
The single was a hit both in Japan and Korea upon its release in both countries in January, claiming the top spots on music charts and televised music shows.
Meanwhile, TVXQ is currently making waves with "Before You Go," the title track to the repackaged version of “Why” released in mid-March.
TVXQ, formerly composed of five members Hero Jaejoong, Mickey Yuchun, Max Changmin and U-Know Yunho, enjoyed high popularity throughout Asia as one the leading dance groups in K-pop scene since their debut in 2004.
However, after disputing with agency SM Entertainment over the unfairness of their 13-year exclusive contract, Jaejoong, Yuchun and Junsu halted their activities as TVXQ and instead formed trio JYJ. TVXQ is now a duo group led by two remaining members Changmin and Yunho.
