Female idol Park Gyulee of girl group KARA will make her return next week to a radio show she hosts with Super Junior member Shindong.
DSP Media announced in a press release on Thursday that Park will go back to hosting MBC's radio program whose translated title is "Shindong, Park Gyu-lee's Sim Sim Tapa" on March 21 after a two month hiatus.
KARA has halted all activities in Korea since mid-January after members Han Seungyeon, Kang Jiyoung and Nicole applied for their contract with agency DSP Media to be terminated despite the success they have seen in the music markets in Korea and Japan.
"I wanted badly to go back to my hosting job. I want to sincerely thank those listeners and staff members of the show for waiting for my return," Park was quoted as saying. "I will work hard to make up for my absence."
Gyu-lee is the leader of five-member girl group Kara that debuted in 2007 with the album “Blooming” and currently working on their singing careers in both Korea and Japan, promoting their hit songs“Mister,” “Honey,” “Lupin” and most recently “Jumping.”
She recently lent her voice for the American animation pic "Alpha and Omega" with radio co-host Shin-dong.
