CNBLUE Lee Jong-hyun shoots 1st scene for new SBS TV series

Korean idol Lee Jong-hyun from rock band CNBLUE has shot his first scene in SBS' upcoming TV series with actress Kim Ha-neul. An official from Lee's agency FNC Entertainment has confirmed through a phone interview with 10Asia today that Lee took part in shooting "Dignity of a Gentleman" (tentative title) with Kim at a club in Itaewon, Seoul on Wednesday, "So far, all we know is that Lee will play an international student named Colin," the rep explained, adding that the producers of the show wants to keep under wraps on further detail about his character till the series premieres on May 26. "Gentleman," written by "Secret Garden" scenarist Kim Eun-sook, will tell the love story of four men in their forties. The series will also star actors Kim Suro, Kim Min-jong and Kim Min. Lee made his first acting debut with a role in the omnibus film "Acoustic" with his fellow bandmate Kang Min-hyuk in 2010.
