Sokcho City to Hold "2026 Small Business Support Program Briefing Session"
Comprehensive Guidance on Funding, Guarantees, Taxation, Crime Prevention, and Finance All in One Place
Sokcho City in Gangwon Province will hold the "2026 Small Business Support Program Briefing Session" at the Small Theater of Sokcho Culture and Arts Center on March 4 at 2:00 p.m., providing comprehensive information on various support policies for local small business owners and prospective entrepreneurs.
This briefing session has been organized to enhance understanding of support systems and to help attendees utilize them more effectively in practice.
Approximately 150 participants, including local small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs, are expected to attend the event. Related organizations such as Sokcho City, the Sokcho Center of the Small Enterprise and Market Service, the Sokcho Branch of Gangwon Credit Guarantee Foundation, Sokcho Police Station, village tax advisors, and the Sokcho branch of NongHyup Bank will also participate.
The session will begin with an introduction to Sokcho City's small business support policies, followed by guidance on policy funds, startup, business recovery, and growth support programs, as well as explanations of guarantee systems and issuance procedures. Recent cases of impersonation scams targeting small businesses by those posing as public institutions and prevention tips will be shared. Additionally, practical information on taxation and financial support measures will be provided sequentially to assist with business operations.
Furthermore, from 1:30 p.m., prior to the start of the event, information booths operated by each organization will be set up at the entrance of the small theater, offering individual consultations and tailored information, with a focus on delivering practical support.
Lee Byeongseon, Mayor of Sokcho, stated, "This briefing session is designed to comprehensively provide practical support information that small business owners can experience on the ground," adding, "I hope attendees will make full use of the support systems in various areas such as funding, guarantees, taxation, crime prevention, and finance to help stabilize management and enhance competitiveness."
