The "2026 Gyeonggi International Boat Show," hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and Gyeonggi Province, will be held at KINTEX in Goyang for three days from March 6 to 8, 2026.
Celebrating its 19th year, the Gyeonggi International Boat Show is the largest boat show and marine leisure tourism exhibition in Korea, organized by KINTEX, KOTRA, the Korea Marine Leisure Industry Association, and the Korea Marina Association.
The Gyeonggi International Boat Show, taking place in Halls 3, 4, and 5 of KINTEX, will be held concurrently with the Korea International Fishing Show and the Camping & Picnic Fair.
Combined, the three exhibitions will cover an area of over 60,000 square meters-more than eight soccer fields-offering visitors a chance to explore a wide range of leisure products.
This year, in particular, to boost the surfing industry-which has the second-largest number of users among domestic marine leisure activities after fishing-the Gyeonggi International Boat Show will feature a sub-exhibition called the "Korea Surf Show" in collaboration with Siheung Wave Park, the largest artificial surfing venue in Asia.
The event will include a large-scale surfing zone and surfing lounge, facilities where visitors can experience surfing firsthand on surf riders, as well as a variety of surfing education and lecture programs.
Additionally, an international conference will be co-hosted with the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA).
On the morning of March 6, the ICOMIA Asia Working Group (AWG) Conference will take place, and in the afternoon, a public panel discussion will be held with Joe Lynch, President of ICOMIA, and Lawrence Chow, Chair of the AWG and President of the Hong Kong Boating Industry Association, among others.
Gyeonggi Province will also offer hands-on programs for family visitors.
First, there will be programs ensuring both safety and fun for children, such as an air surf bounce, mini hovercraft making, and marine safety VR experiences. In addition, there will be a DJ performance at the Surf Show, an exhibition of winning works from the 3rd Photo Contest, and an author meet-and-greet for the book "Understanding the Marine Leisure Industry."
