Book Concert: "Daejeon, the City of Great Pioneers Who Change Korea: Strategies and Actions"
To be held at DCC Daejeon Convention Center on March 2, starting at 10:30 a.m.
Daejeon Mayor Lee Jangwoo will host a book concert titled "Daejeon, the City of Great Pioneers Who Change Korea: Strategies and Actions" on March 2, 2026, starting at 10:30 a.m. in the Grand Ballroom on the second floor of Exhibition Hall 1 at DCC Daejeon Convention Center.
The book concert will feature an author signing event and photo session from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., followed by the main book concert event beginning at 3:00 p.m. The event will be hosted by actor Lee Pilmo.
This new book presents the author's grand vision, philosophy, and dreams for Daejeon, not only as a top-tier economic city, but as a global capital of economic and scientific excellence.
"Looking Far Ahead, Preparing in Advance, and Seeing Things Through to the End" contains discussions on the 2048 Grand Plan for Korea's centennial, groundbreaking new growth engines for the global stage, the expansion of industrial infrastructure, and the six core strategic future industries (ABCDQR) for Daejeon.
The book also delves into the author's behind-the-scenes concerns and decisions during the pursuit of long-cherished regional projects, as well as untold stories of innovation and challenges faced by local governments.
