A is accused of causing an accident at approximately 8:44 p.m. on the 25th, when she was driving a black Porsche on Banpo Bridge, crashed into the guardrail, and then fell onto the Han River embankment below.
As a result of this accident, both A and a man in his 40s who was driving a Mercedes-Benz and collided with the Porsche during the fall were injured and transported to the hospital. Both individuals are reported to be in stable condition and not in life-threatening danger.
The police arrested A the following day and, after investigating drug use and related matters, applied for a detention warrant. A large quantity of empty propofol vials, disposable syringes filled with drugs, and medical tubes were found in the vehicle.
During the police investigation, A admitted to injecting drugs and then driving.
The Yongsan Police Station in Seoul, which has secured A's custody, plans to continue investigating whether the drugs were illegally prescribed and other related matters.
