'KB IT's Your Life' has been operated since 2022 with the aim of fostering young IT talent and enhancing job competitiveness. It was selected as one of the courses for 'K-Digital Training,' a digital core practical talent development project hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. To date, more than 770 participants have taken part in the program and are now active as IT professionals in various industries, including the financial sector.
The launch ceremony, held on this day at the new building of KB Kookmin Bank, was attended by 304 young people selected from across the country. A special lecture was also given by a current KB Kookmin Bank employee who had previously completed the course, sharing practical insights from the field.
This 7th class will receive six months of specialized IT training, including application development, SQL and database design, and code writing using Open AI API. In particular, for young people residing outside the metropolitan area, a dedicated online class will be offered, providing the same curriculum as the in-person program.
Additionally, KB Kookmin Bank will offer all trainees a range of high-quality content, including one-on-one job consulting and special employment lectures, employment mentoring, coding test preparation classes, practical training using Spring AI, and a hackathon competition.
After completing the program, participants selected as outstanding trainees will receive preferential treatment when applying for entry-level positions at KB Kookmin Bank.
