Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation (SH) announced on February 27 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Seoul-Northern Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters of Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation (LX) to strengthen cooperation in cadastral surveying technology and geospatial information.
This agreement aims to enhance work efficiency by utilizing cadastral surveying technology and national spatial information, as well as to contribute to improving public convenience and ensuring safety in related work such as land compensation for public projects.
The two organizations will promote: ▲ technical cooperation related to cadastral surveying, such as preparing cadastral overlay maps and producing drone imagery; ▲ prompt processing of requests between the institutions; and ▲ mutual sharing and joint use of spatial information. In addition, they plan to cooperate in responding to civil complaints related to cadastral surveying and to strengthen capabilities through staff training and technical support.
Hwang Sangha, President of SH, stated, "Cadastral surveying and geospatial information are core foundations for land compensation and development projects. By collaborating with specialized organizations, we will enhance the accuracy and reliability of our work and establish a public project compensation administration system that the public can truly experience."
