The Kimcheon Labor-Management-Government-Civil Council held its first working-level council meeting of the year on February 26 in the conference room of the Workers’ Welfare Center, ahead of the full-scale promotion of the labor-management-government-civil cooperation project scheduled for 2026.

During the meeting, the main agenda was a focused review of the draft “Labor-Management-Government-Civil Mutual Cooperation Joint Declaration,” which is planned for adoption this year. The declaration is intended to express a commitment to creating a labor environment that guarantees fair compensation and safety in response to the rapidly changing labor landscape. In addition, the council discussed strategies to promote the “Regional Labor-Management-Government-Civil Mutual Cooperation Support Project,” a government-sponsored initiative, and explored various measures to secure selection in the public contest.
As a leading regional platform for social dialogue and cooperation, the Kimcheon Labor-Management-Government-Civil Council plans to continue its efforts to create a stable employment environment for workers and to establish a mutually beneficial labor-management relationship based on trust and collaboration among key stakeholders in the local economy.
