Yeoncheon County Launches Themed City Tour Bus from Yeoncheon Station in March
History, Security, and Attractions Courses to Begin
Yeoncheon County in Gyeonggi Province will resume the operation of the '2026 Yeoncheon City Tour Bus' starting from March 4. The service will run until November 29.
This city tour has been revamped to focus on themed courses that reflect tourists' preferences, based on an analysis of the 2025 operations. The bus will operate on different themed routes depending on the day of the week, and the courses may be flexibly adjusted in the future to accommodate local festivals and events.
There are three courses available: ▲ Wednesday - History & Nature Course (Yeoncheon Station ~ Horogoru ~ Gorangpo-gu History Park ~ King Gyeongsun’s Tomb ~ Baekhak Square ~ Imjingang Nature Center); ▲ Thursday & Friday - Security & Nature Course (Yeoncheon Station ~ Taepung Observatory ~ Jeongok Market ~ Suspension Bridge ~ Jaein Falls); ▲ Saturday & Sunday - Yeoncheon Attractions Course (Yeoncheon Station ~ Taepung Observatory ~ Jeongok Market ~ Jeongok Prehistory Museum ~ Jaein Falls).
The fare is 10,000 won for adults. Discounted tickets are available for seniors, national merit recipients, people with disabilities, and students at 8,000 won. Each passenger will receive a 5,000-won Yeoncheon County paper-type local currency as a payback.
The city tour bus can be used after booking in advance on the official website. On-site ticket purchase is available on the day of departure only if there are remaining seats.
A Yeoncheon County official stated, "We expect that the resumption of the city tour bus will improve accessibility to tourist destinations, expand stay-type tourism, and revitalize the local economy."
