"Laying the Foundation to Become a Centennial Company"
On February 27, Yuyu Pharmaceutical held its 85th anniversary celebration and announced its plan to become a centennial company by actively expanding into the pet business and advancing production automation.
The event was held via video connection linking the Seoul office, Jecheon plant, Gwanggyo research center, and sales branches nationwide. A total of 19 employees, including Hwangseon Yoo, the packaging team leader with 20 years of service, received long-term service awards.
In his commemorative address, CEO Park Noyong stated, "Based on the steady growth of our core businesses, we will accelerate our new growth engine, the pet business, and lay the foundation to become a centennial company by enhancing work efficiency through production automation with AI and robotics."
On the previous day, Yuyu Pharmaceutical announced a year-end cash dividend of 115 won per common share and 125 won per preferred share, up more than 10% compared to the previous year. For the third quarter of 2025 on a consolidated basis, the company recorded sales of 106.5 billion won and operating profit of 11.1 billion won.
CEO Park Noyong said, "We decided to increase dividends as a shareholder-friendly policy to reward the trust and support from our shareholders for last year’s strong performance," adding, "By consistently managing the dividend payout ratio, we aim to establish ourselves as a company where both the company and shareholders prosper together." This year's dividend income will be subject to separate taxation without being combined into comprehensive income tax, depending on the amount received.
