Kiwoom Asset Management announced on the 27th that the total assets under management (AUM) of its exchange-traded fund (ETF) brand, "KIWOOM ETF," have exceeded 6 trillion won.
According to the Korea Exchange, as of the 26th, the AUM of KIWOOM ETF stood at 6.1257 trillion won. This represents an increase of more than 1 trillion won in about four months since it surpassed 5 trillion won in October last year.
Since the beginning of this year, the products with the largest AUM growth have been ETFs tracking major domestic market benchmark indices, such as "KIWOOM 200TR," "KIWOOM 200," "KIWOOM KOSDAQ150," and "KIWOOM Korea Value-up." As the government's capital market revitalization policies continue and companies expand their shareholder return programs, assets have been concentrated in market benchmark index products.
The domestic stock market has recently been on a steep upward trend. As the KOSPI surpassed 6,000 points for the first time in history on the 25th, the total AUM of the ETF market also exceeded 378 trillion won. The ETF market size is now on the verge of reaching 400 trillion won.
Last year, Kiwoom Asset Management introduced products such as "KIWOOM Korea High Dividend & U.S. AI Tech," "KIWOOM U.S. S&P500 & Dividend Dow Jones Weight Shift," and "KIWOOM U.S. S&P500 & GOLD," presenting differentiated investment solutions including a strategy to strengthen cash flow based on structural dividend growth, an automatic weight-shift structure according to the investor's life cycle, and a risk management strategy through a 10% allocation to gold.
