Targeting India’s Premium Building Materials Market
Hyundai L&C announced on the 27th that it will participate in India’s largest furniture and materials exhibition, “Indiawood 2026,” which will be held in Bengaluru, India, until the 2nd of next month.
Indiawood is India’s leading furniture and materials exhibition held every two years, and this year more than 1,000 companies from around the world are taking part. This is Hyundai L&C’s second participation since 2024.
At this exhibition, Hyundai L&C has set up a 126-square-meter booth (approximately 40 pyeong) and is showcasing more than 130 products that span both interior and exterior materials, including the solid surface “Hanex,” the interior film “Bodaq,” the customized furniture film “Bodaq Deco,” commercial flooring (LVT and VCT), the board-type wall and closet material “Bodaq Stoneboard,” and TPO waterproofing sheets.
Having expanded its presence in the Indian market with solid surfaces and interior films at the forefront, Hyundai L&C is accelerating its push into India’s premium building materials market by broadening its product lineup and expanding new local sales channels.
A Hyundai L&C official said, “Driven by the Indian government’s focus on urban infrastructure development and the growing local demand for premium housing, the Indian premium building materials market is on a steady growth trajectory,” adding, “We plan to solidify our position as a premium, comprehensive building materials company in India’s increasingly upscale building materials market through differentiated design and strong product competitiveness.”
