Recognized for Performance in Korea's Private Equity Market
Cho Seongwoo, Head of Korea at Adams Street Partners, has been promoted to Head of Asia Investor Relations (IR). Based out of the Hong Kong office, he plans to focus on strengthening partnerships with clients across the Asia-Pacific region, including Korea, and on supporting investors in achieving their objectives.
On the 27th, global private equity firm Adams Street Partners announced that it has promoted Partner Cho Seongwoo, Head of Korea, to Head of Asia IR.
Since joining Adams Street in 2017, Cho has played a key role in building relationships with Korean institutional investors. In particular, he has raised a total of 3.2 billion dollars (approximately 4.6 trillion won) from 55 domestic institutional investors, demonstrating growth and strong partnerships in the Korean market.
Going forward, Cho will oversee investor relations (IR) strategy and client coverage across the Asia-Pacific region, excluding Japan.
He will assume the role in February as the successor to Partner Ben Hart, who has led the Asia IR business for the past 10 years.

Adams Street has built partnerships across Asia. It manages 18.9 billion dollars (approximately 27 trillion won) in assets under management (AUM) from 169 clients in the Asia-Pacific region. The firm supports local investors through offices in key markets including Seoul, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Beijing, and Sydney.
