At this meeting, the city introduced the newly appointed project managers from each institution following personnel changes, and provided time to share the current status and plans for each institution's projects. Through this, the city secured continuity in the operation of the cooperation body and further strengthened the communication system in the course of project implementation.
In addition, the participating institutions focused on discussing ways to organically link all stages of the Education Development Special Zone projects, which connect education, universities, and industry, from program planning to operation, promotion, and dissemination of outcomes.
In particular, they agreed to further advance Goyang-si's unique community-linked education model by closely connecting local educational resources with school curricula through the "One-Click System," Goyang-si's integrated platform for education programs.
An official from Goyang-si said, "Close cooperation between institutions is more important than anything else for the Education Development Special Zone project in Goyang-si to take root in a stable manner," adding, "We will create substantive outcomes that students and parents can truly feel, with the regional cooperation body at the center."
