Discussing Ways to Strengthen Friendly Exchange and Cooperation
Gangwon Special Self-Governing Provincial Council (Chairman Kim Siseong) held a meeting with a delegation from Mongolia's Tyubeu-do Provincial Council at the provincial council on the 26th to discuss ways to expand exchange and cooperation between the two regional councils.

This meeting was arranged to promote friendship and strengthen practical cooperation between the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Provincial Council and the Tyubeu-do Provincial Council, and the Tyubeu-do delegation consisted of five council members.
In his welcome remarks, Chairman Kim Siseong said, "I would like to express my deep gratitude for the warm hospitality extended during my visit to Tyubeu-do last year," and added, "I hope this meeting will further solidify trust between the two councils and lead to cooperation that provides practical benefits to our residents."
After the meeting, the delegation toured the main chamber of the provincial council and took a commemorative photo. In the evening, they attended a welcome dinner to further strengthen their friendship.
On the 27th, the delegation is scheduled to visit the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Agricultural Research and Extension Services and the Samcheok Hydrogen Energy Complex to inspect key policy sites, and they will depart the country on the 28th.
Since signing a friendship agreement in 1999, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province and Tyubeu-do have continued exchanges in various fields, including agriculture, tourism, and public official training. Recently, exchanges between the two councils have also been actively promoted, further expanding the foundation for cooperation.
