At the appointment ceremony that day, Kim Dongyeon, Governor of Gyeonggi Province, said, "It is reassuring that you are someone who has extensive experience in the policy field, including the provincial assembly and as a National Assembly aide," and added, "I hope you will lead transportation innovation that residents can truly feel, based on your rich legislative experience and policy-driving capability."
In his inauguration remarks, President Park Jaeman said, "We will establish ourselves as an institution responsible for transportation services that are closest to residents' daily lives, while strengthening both public interest and expertise," adding, "Through field-oriented communication and effective, execution-focused management, we will bring about changes that residents can genuinely feel."
