Under this project, livestock product packages worth 100,000 won per person, including Korean beef and pork, will be provided to mothers to help supplement their nutrition and support postpartum recovery.

Those eligible are mothers who give birth in 2026, based on the date of application, and have completed birth registration for their child in Pocheon-si. Applications can be submitted online through Gyeonggi Minwon 24 or in person by visiting the administrative welfare center of the eup, myeon, or dong where the applicant’s address is registered.

An official from Pocheon-si said, "The Healthy Moms Livestock Product Package Support Project is a mutually beneficial, customized policy that not only provides practical help to families with newborns but also promotes income stability and market expansion for livestock farms in the city," adding, "We will continue to create an urban environment that is conducive to having and raising children, while steadily expanding support policies for childbirth and childcare that enable local farms to grow together with the community."

Pocheon-si expects that this project will not only contribute to improving the health of mothers, but also promote the consumption of livestock products produced and distributed in the region, thereby having a positive impact on the management stability of local livestock farms and revitalizing the local economy.
