GS Engineering & Construction announced on the 26th that three Jai lighting designs in the Product Design Lighting category and the Maple Jai community facility "Club Jaian" in the Residential Interior category each won the main prize at the international design competition "iF Design Award 2026".
The Jai lighting designs that won the main prize are the Hidden Lighting System, an integrated ceiling light with lighting and speaker functions, and a downlight. They were selected as winners for being lighting solutions that were evaluated as achieving a balanced integration of design, functionality, and sustainability.
Club Jaian, the Maple Jai community facility that won the main prize in the Residential Interior category, was created as a harmonious spatial design by separating and arranging spaces for intergenerational interaction, private areas, and neighbor interaction areas.
A GS Engineering & Construction official said, "This iF Design Award win is an achievement that recognizes the value of Jai as a brand that designs the customer experience it pursues," adding, "We will continue to invest in strengthening our technology and design capabilities to deliver differentiated customer experiences."
Meanwhile, the iF Design Award, organized by International Forum Design in Germany and launched in 1953, is one of the most prestigious international awards in the design field and is regarded as one of the world's top three design awards, along with Germany's Red Dot Design Award and the United States' IDEA.
