"I'll Show You How To Invest In Stocks": Korea Investment & Securities Holds Campus Tour At Chonnam National University

Korea Investment & Securities announced on the 26th that it held its on-site investment education program for university students, the “Hantu Campus Tour,” at Chonnam National University on the 25th.


The Hantu Campus Tour is a youth marketing program designed to instill sound investment concepts in university students, who are the leaders of the future economy, and to strengthen their practical investment capabilities. It goes beyond simple theoretical delivery to provide hands-on content optimized for the digital investment environment, and focuses on enhancing two-way communication through real-time feedback with students.

At this Chonnam National University program, specialized lectures were offered to support practical investing, including stock trading techniques using the Korea Investment & Securities mobile application, basics of chart analysis, and methods of using open APIs for quantitative investing. In addition, opportunities for students to gain practical experience in the capital markets were introduced, such as university student mock investment competitions and supporters programs.


Kim Dohyun, Head of the Retail Client Group at Korea Investment & Securities, said, “The Hantu Campus Tour is a venue for communication that helps university students access finance more easily and practically and establish sound investment values,” adding, “We will continue to visit major universities nationwide to support the growth of the next generation of investors and to steadily strengthen our ties with them.”


Meanwhile, Korea Investment & Securities is actively expanding its future customer base by strengthening cooperation with university student investment communities, including the University Investment Club Union (UIC). The company is also taking the lead in improving young people’s financial literacy through a wide range of activities such as university student mock investment competitions and supporters programs.
