Mercedes-Benz Korea To Implement New Sales Method "Retail of the Future" In April

Providing a Consistent Customer Experience Nationwide

Mercedes-Benz Korea will launch its new sales method, "Retail of the Future," on April 13.


Mercedes-Benz Korea said on the 26th that it held a signing ceremony on the 25th at Shilla Hotel Seoul with 11 official dealers nationwide to ensure the successful introduction of the new vehicle sales method, "Retail of the Future."

The company will integrate the previously dealer-specific vehicle pricing and inventory management structures. Customers will be able to purchase vehicles at an optimal single price set by Mercedes-Benz Korea, without price negotiations, at any official showroom nationwide. They will also be able to check all vehicle inventory across the country in real time.


Customers can check vehicle prices and information on the official website, select an official showroom anywhere in the country, and then proceed with detailed purchase consultation and test drives.


Based on a standardized new sales process that encompasses both online and offline channels, the company is expected to focus more on providing a consistent and high-level customer experience anywhere in the country.


Since 2023, Mercedes-Benz Korea and the 11 dealers have systematically pursued key implementation tasks for the rollout of Retail of the Future, including system development and operational stabilization, dealer training, and the establishment of on-site processes, based on a shared understanding of the initiative.


Matthias Vaitl, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Korea, said, "This is a strategic decision to ensure that customers can enjoy a purchasing experience that is consistent, trustworthy, and worthy of the Mercedes-Benz brand anytime, anywhere," adding, "It is very meaningful that we are able to introduce this new sales method under our shared goals of enhancing customer experience and satisfaction, and achieving mutual growth."


Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz Korea and its dealers agreed to continue the Mercedes-Benz social contribution activities that they have jointly carried out over the past 12 years, even after the introduction of Retail of the Future.
