In the course of operating the Samsung Sono VET Academy, the Korea Animal Hospital Association will directly provide professional instructors and training dogs to offer high-quality hands-on training, and will jointly produce online educational content and academic materials for veterinarians. Using Samsung Medison's "The Suite Lab," the two parties also plan to jointly run a basic ultrasound training course within the association's KAHA STARTER program. They will further promote conferences and symposiums together to lay the groundwork for targeting the premium animal healthcare market.
Choi Idon, president of the Korea Animal Hospital Association, said, "As pet owners' expectations for high-quality medical services continue to rise, demand for ultrasound training for veterinarians is also steadily increasing. We hope to contribute to improving the quality of care at animal hospitals by building a systematic education system together with a trusted partner."
Yoo Gyutae, CEO of Samsung Medison, said, "Through this MOU, we expect to further strengthen field-oriented educational linkages and help enhance the professionalism and sophistication of the medical environment for companion animals in Korea."
