This project was planned by Daewoong Pharmaceutical, which is focusing on endocrine diseases as a key future growth driver, to share issues facing the pharmaceutical industry with future talent and provide them with autonomous problem-solving experience. Daewoong Pharmaceutical staff participated in every stage of the project, setting the direction of the tasks and providing feedback.
As a preliminary assignment, the students compared domestic and overseas reimbursement criteria for diabetes treatments and analyzed ways to improve the domestic diabetes treatment environment, focusing on Enblo, the 36th domestically developed new drug. For the main assignment, they established practical strategies that included: a portfolio strategy for diabetes and obesity treatments; proposals for next-generation drugs that reflect market trends; and planning of PR campaigns to effectively communicate the value of the domestically developed new drug Enblo.
A Daewoong Pharmaceutical official said, "It was a meaningful collaboration designed to enable future pharmaceutical talent to autonomously reflect on real industry challenges and experience learning and growth in the process," adding, "We will continue to expand collaboration with future talent and work together to enhance innovation and competitiveness in the pharmaceutical industry."
