NH-Amundi Asset Management announced on the 26th that it has newly listed the "HANARO K-Humanoid Theme TOP10" ETF, which invests in domestic companies related to humanoid robots.

The underlying index is the "iSelect K-Humanoid Theme TOP10." After screening companies with a high level of relevance to humanoid robots, NH Investment & Securities' Research Division conducts a qualitative assessment, and the index is finally composed of 10 stocks. Based on the research analysis, the top two companies with the highest scores among the 10 stocks will each be assigned a 15% weight for focused investment, while the weights of the remaining companies will be adjusted using a free-float market-capitalization-weighted method.

Humanoid robot-related stocks have been drawing attention from investors as CES 2026 at the beginning of the year imprinted the perception that the sector has moved beyond the realm of possibility and into a realistic stage where robots can be deployed directly to industrial sites. In practice, key components such as actuators that serve as robot joints, speed reducers that control force, and batteries have entered the mass-production stage, and companies are expected to be able to fully introduce humanoids to industrial sites in the near future.

In particular, there is growing interest in the fact that Korean companies are highly likely to play a pivotal role in the development of the global humanoid industry. The United States and China are engaged in a technological hegemony war in the fields of physical AI and humanoid robots. In this context, Western countries led by the United States are highly likely to turn their attention to Korea instead of relying on the Chinese supply chain.

Kim Seungcheol, Head of ETF Investments at NH-Amundi Asset Management, said, "In the humanoid robot industry, Korea is expected to benefit even more as a key manufacturing base for the West in the era of the U.S.-China physical AI war," adding, "The HANARO K-Humanoid Theme TOP10 ETF is a core solution for investing in the next-generation robot industry, composed of just 10 key stocks."
