7-Eleven Aims to Tame Grocery Prices... "Discounts from the 1st to the 15th Every Month"

7-Eleven Launches Monthly Regular Discount Project
Introducing "Save Sale" Discount on Essential Grocery Items

7-Eleven announced on the 26th that it will launch a monthly regular discount project to ease consumers' financial burden amid persistently high prices and to help stabilize prices.

From the 1st to the 15th of every month, 7-Eleven will launch "Save Sale," a project that carefully selects essential grocery items and monthly popular products and offers them at reasonable prices. Save Sale is characterized by maximizing price competitiveness by adding extra discounts when customers use partnered payment methods on top of the convenience store's representative promotional offers such as "1+1" and "2+1." For the March Save Sale, customers who pay with Kakao Pay Money will receive an additional 10% discount on top of the basic promotions, with a focus on lowering the perceived price level for consumers.

In addition, when purchasing products under the "1+1" or "2+1" promotions, customers can choose not to receive the free item immediately but instead store it in "Ssook Storage" within the 7-Eleven mobile app (Seven App) and redeem it later at any store nationwide when needed.

7-Eleven has selected more than 20 items for the March promotion, ranging from basket staples directly linked to table prices such as ramen, beverages, eggs, tofu, and bean sprouts, to food items like beer, snacks, and jelly.

The "Cass 500ml Can (4-pack)" bundle will be sold at 9,000 won, about a 22% discount from the regular price of 11,500 won. A total of 30,000 units of this product have been prepared. "Saewookkang," which pairs well with beer, will be offered under a "3+1" promotion (buy 3, get 1 free) with an additional 10% discount. "Good Eggs 10-pack (large size)" will be available at 2,700 won, about 29% cheaper, by combining an 800 won discount off the regular price with an additional 10% discount. In addition, major fresh and refrigerated foods will be offered with overlapping "1+1" promotions and an extra 10% discount. As demand for jelly increases with the "frozen jelly" trend, 7-Eleven will run a "2+1" promotion on 15 types of Haribo jelly, and customers paying with Kakao Pay Money will also receive an additional 10% discount.

In addition to the extra discount for Kakao Pay Money payments, discount promotions will also be offered on two types of toilet paper rolls. For "Deco Soft 3-ply 30-roll tissue," 10,500 won will be discounted immediately from the regular price to enhance price competitiveness. For "Clean Nara 3-ply Soft 24-roll (pulp)," a 4,000 won discount will be combined with a "1+1" promotion.

Eo Dongjun, in charge of brand marketing on the Marketing Strategy Team at 7-Eleven, said, "As high prices continue, we planned a regular price stabilization project to reduce the price burden for customers who visit 7-Eleven," adding, "Through Save Sale, we will continue to enhance our competitiveness as a nearby shopping channel by offering products with reasonable prices and excellent quality every month."
