[Tomorrow's Weather] Nationwide Rain or Snow in Places... Daytime Highs Up to 16 Degrees

Morning lows of -6 to 7 degrees, daytime highs of 9 to 16 degrees

On Wednesday the 25th, temperatures are expected to rise from midday, bringing mild weather.


According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 24th, tomorrow morning's low will range from -6 to 7 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high will range from 9 to 16 degrees. Until the morning, temperatures will be similar to or slightly lower than the seasonal averages (morning lows of -6 to 3 degrees, daytime highs of 6 to 12 degrees), but from midday they will be higher than normal.


In Jeollanam-do and the Gyeongsang region, rain or snow will continue until the early hours of the 25th, and in the southern coastal and mountainous areas of Gangwon and the eastern coastal areas of the Gyeongsang region, some places will see continued precipitation until the morning. Jeju Island will see rain continue for the time being.

Over the two days from the 25th to the 26th, expected precipitation is 10 to 40 mm on Jeju Island (through the 26th), 5 to 20 mm in Gyeongsangnam-do, and 5 to 10 mm in Gwangju, Jeollanam-do, and the southern part of Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do. In the southern mountainous areas of Gangwon, 1 to 5 cm of snow is expected through the morning of the 25th.


In areas where rain or snow falls, visibility will be reduced, and in many inland areas where ground-level temperatures are low, roads are likely to become icy. Extra caution is advised regarding icy and slick road surfaces on bridges, elevated roads, and tunnel entrances and exits.


In Seoul, some inland parts of northern Gyeonggi, the mountainous and eastern coastal areas of Gangwon, eastern Jeollanam-do, the Gyeongsang region, and parts of Chungcheongbuk-do, where dry weather advisories are in effect, the air remains very dry. With strong winds added, even small sparks may develop into large fires. Caution is needed to prevent wildfires and other fires.


Fine dust concentrations are expected to be at "good" to "moderate" levels across all regions.
