Dong-Eui Institute of Technology has been selected for the second consecutive year as a university certified for its International Education Quality Assurance System.
Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Youngdo) announced on the 20th that it was selected for the second consecutive year as a certified university in the 2025 International Education Quality Assurance System (IEQAS) evaluation, organized by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea.
The International Education Quality Assurance System is a scheme that certifies excellent universities by comprehensively evaluating their systems for recruiting and managing international students, the appropriateness of their educational operations, academic and daily-life support, prevention of illegal stays, and management of academic dropout.
Dong-Eui Institute of Technology was recognized for the stability of its international student management system and for its performance in education and support operations. It has strengthened step-by-step counseling and administrative support before and after admission, and systematized its Korean language curriculum and academic administration. The university has also expanded programs to support students' daily life and settlement, while simultaneously advancing the management of academic retention and visa status.
With this certification, Dong-Eui Institute of Technology has reaffirmed the quality of its internationalized education and its capacity to support international students. The university plans to further strengthen its foundation for attracting outstanding talent from overseas and to expand its role as a global education hub that grows together with the local community.
President Kim Youngdo emphasized, "Being certified for two consecutive years is the result of our continuous efforts to advance our education and support system for international students," adding, "We will further strengthen educational, administrative, and daily-life support to create a safe and stable academic environment."
