The Agricultural Industry-Academia Cooperation Council consists of 19 members, including the head of the Agricultural Technology Center as chairperson, as well as heads of related agricultural institutions, leaders of farmers' organizations, and representatives of farmers by sector.

They collect opinions and select beneficiaries for pilot and support projects in the agricultural sector in order to enhance agricultural competitiveness by establishing an organic cooperation system among industry, academia, and government, disseminating new technologies, and promoting the dissemination of crop development technologies that increase farm income.

Prior to the council meeting, they completed document reviews by project and on-site inspections to ensure fair selection of project operators. After selection, they plan to prepare various measures for successful project implementation, including providing training to selected farms on the proper use of subsidies and holding evaluation meetings after project completion.

Director Kim Seongil said, "We will make even greater efforts to strengthen Sacheon City's agricultural competitiveness through the implementation of pilot and support projects in the agricultural sector, and we plan to continuously identify and promote projects that provide practical help to farmers."
