New Corporate Support Subcommittee and Smart Directory Project
Enhanced Tailored Support for Member Companies
The Goryeong County Chamber of Commerce and Industry in North Gyeongsang Province held its regular board meeting for the first quarter of 2026 in the conference room on the third floor of Geumbitmasil on the 11th, where it passed key agenda items aimed at revitalizing the local economy and strengthening the Chamber’s self-sustainability.

At the meeting, which was attended by Chairman Jeon Haemyung and other board members, discussions were held to solidify the operational foundation of the Chamber, including the report on the 2025 business year settlement of accounts and the approval of the 2026 business plan and budget proposal.
The main agenda items included the introduction of an organizational restructuring and subcommittee system, the promotion of a smart directory production project, and the simplification of the approval procedures for new members. All of these items were approved as originally proposed.
In particular, to efficiently manage and support its approximately 160 member companies, the Chamber will reorganize its structure into six subcommittees: Manufacturing/Production Subcommittees 1 to 3, a Wholesale/Retail and Service Subcommittee, a Construction and Architecture Subcommittee, and a Corporate Support Subcommittee.
In the newly established Corporate Support Subcommittee, the Chamber plans to appoint professionals in fields such as taxation, law, and labor as special members, in order to provide prompt advisory services addressing the management difficulties of member companies.
The Chamber will also promote the production of a “smart directory” to enhance communication among member companies. By uploading the member company database and conducting operational tests by May, it plans to build a network infrastructure that will enable easy information sharing and mutual growth even in mobile environments.
Jeon Haemyung, Chairman of the Goryeong County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said, “This year is an important time for our Chamber of Commerce and Industry to prepare for a greater leap forward,” adding, “Through practical support projects such as organizational restructuring and the production of a smart directory, we will increase the benefits that our member companies can truly feel and faithfully fulfill our role as a reliable partner of the Goryeong economy.”
