Geochang is a region with clear appeal in all four seasons, but during the Lunar New Year holiday in particular, its serene natural scenery and simple travel routes make it a place where visitors can satisfy both relaxation and travel at the same time.
The Geochang Nine Scenic Views, the county’s signature tourism assets, consist of nine major sites that capture the area’s core landscapes, including mountains, valleys, and traditional scenery, and are spread across all parts of Geochang County to the east, west, south, and north.
Each spot offers a distinct atmosphere even in winter, allowing visitors during the Lunar New Year period to fully encounter nature along with the nostalgic mood of their hometown. On top of this, the "Geochang On Golden Apple Stamp Tour," launched as an opening event for the "2026 Visit Geochang Year," makes a trip to Geochang even more multidimensional and complete.
The Golden Apple Stamp Tour is a participatory program that links apples, Geochang’s representative local specialty, with its tourist attractions, and is designed so that anyone, including families, couples, and teenagers, can easily take part during the holiday. Visitors can tour the main attractions in sequence and enjoy sightseeing, hands-on experiences, and the fun of participation all together.

Most natural and outdoor tourist attractions will operate as usual during the Lunar New Year holiday, while some indoor and experiential facilities are scheduled to close on Lunar New Year’s Day or on specific days.
