Delivery of Korean Farm Produce Packages to Vulnerable Residents in Seodaemun-gu
Selected for the Ministry of Health and Welfare "Community Contribution Recognition Program" for Five Consecutive Years
NongHyup Property & Casualty Insurance announced on the 12th that it held the "Korean Farm Produce Package Sharing Event" during a visit to the Seodaemun Comprehensive Social Welfare Center in Seoul on the 11th.
Song Chunsu, CEO of NH NongHyup Property & Casualty Insurance, participated in an event distributing packages of Korean agricultural products at the Seodaemun Comprehensive Social Welfare Center in Seoul on the 11th.
This event was organized as part of the "All-NongHyup New Year Warm Companionship, Happy Sharing Relay Event" to deliver Korean agricultural products to neighbors in need.
On this day, around 30 employees of NongHyup Property & Casualty Insurance, including CEO Song Chunsu, packed Korean farm produce packages containing items such as Korean beef bone soup, dongchimi, and fruit, and personally visited vulnerable households to deliver them.
Song Chunsu, CEO of NongHyup Property & Casualty Insurance, said, "We prepared this event in the hope that our neighbors will welcome a warm and abundant New Year," adding, "We will continue to carry out practical, everyday-life-focused support activities that local residents can truly feel."
Meanwhile, NongHyup Property & Casualty Insurance has carried out various support activities for marginalized groups, including producing sleep vests for single mothers and their children, sharing rice under the "Rice of Love" campaign, and delivering heat wave prevention kits for the summer. In recognition of these efforts, the company has been selected for five consecutive years under the "Community Contribution Recognition Program" organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
