Recruitment of Participants for New Venture and TipTop Startup Support Programs

Gumi City in North Gyeongsang Province is recruiting companies to participate in the "2026 Gumi City New Venture Startup Support Program" and the "2026 Gumi-style TipTop Startup Incubation Program" to support the growth of promising technology-based startups. The aim is to systematically nurture innovative startups in the region by providing stage-specific support, from discovering early-stage startups to commercializing their technologies.
The New Venture Startup Support Program is aimed at companies established within the last five years or prospective entrepreneurs. A total of eight companies will be selected, and each company will receive up to 100 million won in commercialization funding, along with programs such as mentoring and technology exchange meetings to help ensure stable growth in the early stages. The program focuses on helping companies that have technological competitiveness but lack commercialization experience to successfully enter the market.
The Gumi-style TipTop Startup Incubation Program targets companies established within the last seven years. A total of four companies will be selected, and each company will receive up to 200 million won in funding for commercialization. By providing support centered on demonstration and verification, the program aims to increase the market applicability of their technologies. Its core goal is to help startups that have entered a growth phase prepare for a full-fledged leap forward.
Applications will be accepted online from 4:00 p.m. on February 19 to 4:00 p.m. on March 5 through the Gumi City Startup Support Information website. Both programs are open to companies located in Gumi or companies that are able to relocate their headquarters to Gumi.
