Fire Breaks Out at Karaoke Room on First Floor of Yangsan Motel Building ... 11 Guests Evacuated and Rescued

At around 10:19 p.m. on the 5th, a fire broke out at a karaoke room on the first floor of a four-story building in Samho-dong, Yangsan-si, Gyeongnam Province.

The fire burned approximately 90 square meters of the first-floor karaoke room and other areas, causing an estimated property damage of about 36.4 million won, according to the fire station.

The fire did not spread to the motel on the 2nd to 4th floors of the building, but as smoke spread, 2 guests evacuated on their own and 9 others were rescued by firefighters.

There were no casualties because the karaoke room was not operating at the time of the fire.

Upon receiving the report, the fire authorities mobilized 64 personnel and 16 pieces of equipment, and completely extinguished the fire at around 12:08 a.m. on the 6th.

The police and fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
