On the 2nd, Naju City in South Jeolla Province held a communication meeting at Cafe Sogam and the Naju Art Museum, attended by Vice Mayor Kang Sanggu and 13 new public officials for 2025.
The meeting was organized to support the smooth adaptation of the new public officials to the organization and to enhance their understanding of the roles and responsibilities of public servants.
The event was conducted in a relaxed atmosphere, combining an open conversation and a luncheon. The new public officials candidly shared the difficulties and concerns they faced while adjusting to their work, and received sincere advice and practical feedback from the vice mayor.
In particular, there was also a session that specifically addressed problems related to everyday corruption and irregular practices, so that new public servants could internalize a preventive awareness of integrity from the very beginning of their careers.
In addition, as future members of the organization, the new public officials proposed development directions for Naju and jointly explored ways for the organization’s sustainable growth through intergenerational communication.
Vice Mayor Kang Sanggu said, "It is more important than anything else that new public officials settle stably as members of the organization," and urged, "I hope you will grow into public servants trusted by citizens, based on your original intentions and integrity at the starting line of your public service career."
