Jeon Hangil Shouts "Lee Junseok, Answer Me"... Lee Fires Back, "Stop Putting On a Show and Come Debate"

Jeon Hangil reiterates "rigged election" claims immediately upon return to Korea
Lee Junseok: "If you are confident you can prove it, come to the debate stage"

Jeon Hangil, a YouTuber and former Korean history instructor who has been staying overseas while claiming there was a "rigged election" and calling for "Yoon Again," mentioned Reform New Party leader Lee Junseok by name in public as he once again repeated the same assertions at the airport immediately after returning to Korea. In response, Lee hit back head?on, saying, "Stop putting on a show and come debate."

Jeon arrived at Incheon International Airport on the 3rd on a flight from Fukuoka, Japan. It was his first return in about five months since he left the country on August 11 last year, saying he would inform the international community about former President Yoon Sukyeol's "human rights violations." Standing before reporters immediately after entering the country, Jeon once again raised suspicions of election fraud and went on the offensive against the media and the political establishment.

Jeon Hangil: "Are Trump and Elon Musk conspiracy theorists too?... Lee Junseok, answer me" in anger

Jeon said, "I have a question for the reporters who call the rigged election claims a conspiracy theory," and continued, "U.S. President Donald Trump took all 700 ballot boxes in the state of Georgia. He said that in order to prove that he lost the 2020 presidential election to former President Joe Biden because of election fraud, he had secured a vast amount of empirical evidence. Then is President Trump also a conspiracy theorist?" he said, raising his voice.

He then brought up Tesla CEO Elon Musk by name and shouted, "Elon Musk likewise said there was election fraud in the 2020 presidential election. Is Elon Musk a conspiracy theorist too?" In an agitated tone, Jeon said, "I want to ask those who say that election fraud is just a conspiracy theory," and added, "The Korean public has a great deal of distrust toward the National Election Commission of Korea, don't they? People say there are many problems with early voting, don't they? What Jeon Hangil is arguing is, 'Let's improve the system.' I am saying we should open the ballot boxes and do a recount, so what is wrong with that?" he stressed.

Finally, Jeon shouted in informal language, "Lee Junseok, answer me!" and then pressed further, asking, "Is President Trump a conspiracy theorist? And is Elon Musk, who bases his views on statistics and data, also a conspiracy theorist?"

In response, Lee Junseok wrote on his Facebook page, "Come debate. Stop putting on a show. You're going to run away anyway," and added, "If you've returned to Korea, you can just take part in a debate. I don't know why people who believe in election fraud talk so much instead of doing that."

He went on, "If you believe in election fraud, think carefully about why people like that behave the way they do, and if you don't want to be ashamed, tell people like that to stop talking and come out to debate."

In an additional post, Lee also disclosed that he had taken legal action. He stated, "Jeon Yugwan (stage name Jeon Hangil), who has been repeatedly claiming that 'Lee Junseok was elected in Dongtan through a rigged election,' already had a criminal complaint filed against him on January 30 on charges of defamation by spreading false information." The charge is a violation of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (defamation).

He said, "Since he keeps avoiding debate and only provoking to make it look like he is not running away, I will forcibly give him the motivation to enthusiastically prove the alleged rigged election," and added, "All he has to do is go to the police station and present evidence to the police that Lee Junseok was elected through a rigged election, and if he cannot, he will be punished." He continued, "If he takes part in an unlimited debate on the alleged rigged election, I will consider withdrawing the complaint depending on his sincerity, his level of engagement, and whether he corrects his mistaken views."
